Waveform and audio of a musical track I produced in 2016, titled “In Search of The”.
In 2015 and 2016, I joined the Broadcast Production Technology program at Forsyth Technical Community College. This hands-on program had us hit the ground running and producing almost immediately; everything from radio spots, to narration, to underwriting and commercial writing. In this program I was able to draw from my background in music production and Twitch streaming, and it shined through in my work.
A mock radio ad for Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar which I produced, wrote, and narrated.
Our program went to the SkillsUSA North Carolina 2016 conference, competing in their Audio Production contest. Each of us were paired up with a partner and sent on our way to produce a sixty second spot, highlighting some of the benefits of SkillsUSA. We went around interviewing instructors and coordinators and recorded and produced this spot on-site within a few hours. My partner and I won first place, and were invited to nationals, which I was unfortunately unable to attend.

In 2012, I began exploring music production, having no knowledge whatsoever of music theory or audio production. Since then, I have been composing music off and on, slowly honing my ability and furthering my knowledge of the craft. I released an EP, Redawn, in 2016, which is available on Bandcamp, along with other releases.
